WARRANTY POLICY

Warranty Coverage

All products purchased from RIFT POWER CO come with a two (2) year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What is Covered

Our warranty covers products that are free from manufacturer defects. If your product fails due to a manufacturing fault during the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no charge to you.

What is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Batteries that have been dropped or physically damaged

Products damaged due to negligent use, misuse, or abuse

Damage caused by accidents, improper storage, or failure to follow product instructions

Normal wear and tear

Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, please contact us at admin@riftpower.com.au with your proof of purchase and a description of the defect. We will assess your claim and provide instructions for return or replacement if applicable.

Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


PROOF OF PURCHASE

Before returning or exchanging a product, RIFT POWER CO requires proof of purchase identifying the date, price, store and product/s purchased.

If you do not have one or more of these details, we will attempt to locate them in our system.

CHANGE OF MIND

If you have simply changed your mind, RIFT POWER CO will exchange unused products returned within 30 days that are in original/resaleable condition. β€œChange of mind” does not apply to switch and save, trade in sale or promotional items, spare parts, β€œspecial order” products or products not usually stocked. PLEASE NOTE, CHANGE OF MIND YOU WILL BEAR THE SHIPPING COST

FAULTY PRODUCTS

RIFT POWER CO will handle faulty products in accordance with the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including by following any express manufacturer’s warranty you received with the product.

If your product needs to be externally assessed, we will advise you of this and any associated fee, which isn’t payable if the product is not of acceptable quality or otherwise doesn’t comply with the ACL.

If the fault is minor, we will repair or replace the item within a reasonable time.

If the fault is major, you may choose between a refund, replacement or repair.

If the product is not faulty, or the fault is caused by misuse or abnormal use, Total Tools has no obligation to provide a refund, replacement or repair.

DELIVERIES AND ONLINE ORDERS

Please do not sign for delivery of products that are obviously damaged. If damage is only found upon unpacking, or there is an error in your order, please contact the store who fulfilled your order as soon as possible for assistance, or email the online support team at - admin@riftpower.com.au
